Club Friday Night
Colts Digital Radio is happy to announce a new joint venture .... a 3 Hour Block Party, "Club Friday Night", simulcasted Live every Friday night on Colts Digital Radio. Freative & GSMACK will co-host the night taking turns at the controls. Beginning at 8PM ET, the party starts with Freative's "Free Ride" followed by GSMACK's Friday Night Retro at 9pm ET proceeded by Freative's After Hours Mix at 10PM ET. All three shows will not only be filled with some of the hottest Dance & CLub Mixes, but we anticipate several special guest apparences, crowd praticipation, and other live interviews.
When asked about the show Freative replied, "Nightlife isn't just about the music, it's a lifestyle; and no venue will capture this better then Club Friday Night." GSMACK added, "We plan to expand the Club Friday Night web pages and grow more into an interactive web portal covering all aspects of nightlife - music, clubs, design, DJs, personalities, fashion, and style. We hope to add a few web cams in the future to bring the party directly to the listners on the radio, grab listner feedback & suggestions, and maybe a few contest here & there."

With the house packed full and half liquored up, GSMACK takes control and turns back time to the Big 80's. Aaah, the 80s - that happy little decade between social activism and self-loathing grunge. Back when the Coreys were king and Kirk Cameron hadn't been left behind. When Cabbage Patch Kids spawned Garbage Pail Kids, and we liked it. From the obscure to the obvious to the no-no-notorious. Whether you were there at the time or only know the period through its music, Friday Night Retro will be sure give you a unique flavour of that luminous decade... "I personally grew up totally in the 80's. All of my formidable years in high school & college were within the decade." said GSMACK. "I can't take much credit for the success of the show... the music just sells itself." |

"At 10 o'clock, the gloves come off" exclaims Freative. "The After Hours Mix is a solid 60 minutes of the best dance and techno tracks around, blended in to one long, non-stop train ride." Honestly, Freative doesn't know if there are any words to completely tell the story of this hour. If you've ever caught any of his noontime mixes during the week, you know what to expect. For those that haven't, Freative puts a lot of thought and work in to the tracks he blends together for his shows, and the style can change in a heartbeat. "Yeah, I've been known to smack peoples ears with something they didn't expect" said Freative. "But hey, I like to keep people on their feet. Sometimes you just gotta mix things up a bit." |
