Well... we did it. We finally looked like the Colts. Marvin proved he doesn't suck (i told you so). Peyton proved he's still the greatest. Our offensive line proved it could block. Most importantly, though, our defense proved it could stop the run. It looks like the season isn't a wash afterall. We can collectively breathe. Man, am I ever glad to see Marvin Harrison back to form, making people look retarded when they try to cover him one-on-one. Well done, Marvelous.

I had one problem with the game. After Diem's stupidass self got that freaken sweet touchdown called back, we played more lax than we had up to that point. We got content with what we had and didn't attack on offense any more. Our defense went back to the bend but don't break philosophy as opposed to the "Kill 'Em All" mentality. True, the Ravens only managed 3 points, but still... a shutout would've been splen-diddly-riffic. I don't like when we do that. I would've liked to have seen at least one more drive. One more bomb from the assault cannon. Just one more.

A quick question, though. Is Melvin Bullit trying to be the next Darrell Reid? I certainly hope so.

Melvin had a helluva game .That hit he laid on the return man hurt me a little. It seemed he was around the ball or in on every play.(not to mention the int). The only thing that ticked me off really was all the stinkin penalties toward the end. Well that and Tamme didnt get any PT despite being active (but I can deal w/that).I think we all knew (despite what was being said other places) that Marvin would get back to form and back in sync w/Peyton. That move he put on Mccallister in the end zone was a thing of pure beauty. What I'm hoping for is that the D can prove that this wasn't a fluke game and come out and keep GB out of the end zone as well.

Thats not what I was saying . But yeah I've heard some say that. But you gotta consider most people I talk to around here are Titans and Bengals fans.I stay out of most of the gloom and doom threads on the other site .I might go over there and post somethiong incredibly stupid and thats about the extent of it. So I really could'nt tell you what they're saying . My point was that GB has a more potent offense to say the least than the crows. so for our D to come out and have another run stuffing extravaganza proves it wasn't a fluke and makes the up coming schedual not look so bad.

There's only one problem with this fabulous comeback. There goes the draftpick we were starting to bank on :P

i don't know anymore. i really don't. we've seen that type of performance from our D before. we saw it in the Super Bowl run, we saw it all of last season, we saw it against the Ravens. i think the problem (huge as it is) with our defense this year is the early season defensive tackle drama. i don't know if i should draw the comparison or not, but a couple years ago the Patriots started the season this same way. win one, lose one, win one, lose one. half way through the season, they were 4-4 and ended up managing a pretty good season at 12-4. of course, their division was weak as well water and we're chasing the Titans who right now have the best record in football... but it ain't over yet.
