I have to give it to the school system and town I live in. They used fear mongering at the highest level I have seen in a long time. I understood
why they needed some help financial given the fact that the state crippled the budget. That is a whole another rant on Mitch Daniels and his moronic
view on public education.
Yet, the school system nor the town actually used facts and figures to explain why they need an increase in taxes. They just said if you do not
approve this you will lose your school system and the boogey man will come eat your babies. They did not talk about how the average class size is 16
and there was room to consolidate into bigger class rooms. They did not talk about how our superintendent is top 5 in pay in the state, but oversees
one of the smallest school districts in the state.
They did not talk about how our junior high, high school, and one of our elementary have all missed the minimum state standards at some point in the
past few years. They did not talk about how they built a brand new gym even though it was not needed considering my graduating class was 90 and the
school population has gone down since then. So why did we need to spend a few million on a new gym?
Yet, all I see on facebook, twitter, and around town is how if we do not raise taxes we will lose our magnificent school system. Yet our school
system has done nothing to really make an effort to cut costs. They just went with lets tax them!
Of course it passed with a overwhelming majority of 88% to 12%.
They sad thing is it reminded me a lot of a few years ago when someone would say something against the government and they would be told they do not
love America. I know speaking out I felt like somehow I was the bad guy and hated our town.
Also, am I the only one who finds it odd that Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo?

Every year I look forward to getting the yard cleaned up and back in shape from the toll winter has taken on it. Then every year I realize it really

- So get this . The school my daughter attends lets out in the back where all the parents drive around and line up to pick them up. I swear to gawd
there is more than one parent there who feels like they have to get out of their car to either
A :Open their freakin door . Or
B: help lil 8 or 9 yr old Johnny or Jill get their seat belt on.
If your 8 or 9 yr old can't put their seat belt on by that age Im going to say it's a safe bet they can't tie their shoes either. You not only fail
as a parent but you make me want to run over the both of you. Stay your ass in the car you overbearing, overprotective douche bag and keep the line
moving!

So after reading a few articles about what happened in Detroit where that 7 year old was shot and killed during a raid by the police I am still
baffled how no knock warrants are constitutional.
How can people who work in CPS not have a psychology degree.

-From what you were telling me KY .I don't blame you , Good thing toi have a job , but that doesnt mean that [Censored]ing about it isn't
therapeutic.
- Having ant problems this summer . Have already sprayed once have no idea where these little SOB's are coming from .
- A pool "guaranteed" to not go green has ....wait for it....gone green. Said it had no need to be shocked due to it being a saltwater system .
Everything was done right Ive went over it with a fine tooth comb . And you couldn't have asked for more cleaning than what I did. Skimmer , vac the
whole nine. I email the tech support . What did they tell me? Shock it! .

I hate when religious people, especially Christians, use their religion as a reason to treat people like crap becuase they deem them sinners. Some of
the main points of religion is to forgive and not to judge!!!!!
I think people get worse at driving every single day. I really wish I had a camera every time I drove just to catch on camera all the stupidity. A
guy got into the right lane which is supposed to be going straight, but decided he wanted to go left and just turned left right in front of me when I
was sitting in the turn lane. Good thing I did not immediately step on the gas when the turn arrow came on.
I hate those vuvuzela and wish FIFA would have banned them from the games!

Why in the heck does the UK get to field a FIFA team for every province in their country, yet others are limited to just one? The only explanation I
get is:
"We started it way back when we played Ireland and then each of the other provinces, so each is represented. Don't like it? Start your own and make
up your own rules."

Correct me if I am wrong, but only Canada and Australia are officially on their own. Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland still have
representational in parliament. I do not get why places that are not their own sovereign state get to send a team. Heck I do not know why they just
do not send a UK team. You get the best players from Wales, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland.
I refuse to ever move to Flordia and have to deal with all of those old people. I get aggravated at the old people in Indiana that just sit at the
light and wait and wait and wait until they have about a mile distance between the car that is approaching them turning.
LOL you cannot call it real football. Only two players actually use their feet. It just shows how lazy us Americans are. we think of a sport and go
hey what are we going to call it......um lets steal football from the rest of the world and use that as the name for our sport.

now imagine those same idiots on a highway at night doing 60+ mph and you're working about 3 feet from them, and the only thing between you and them
is a big orange projectile that they're supposed to launch by hitting them with their cars.

-The only place worse for traffic in the world than Spaghetti Junction here in Louisville would be the mixmaster in DFW ..the absolute worst .
-The American football v/s Futbol debate has serious potential. Folks on other boards have been going at it pretty strong. Entertaining to say the
least .
- I was disappointed to find out Ireland didn't even get a team in this yr.
