A big meh to Madden 2011. When your biggest features being touted is a glorified Ask Madden you know you have something wrong. Where are the
improvements to franchise mode? Madden 2005's franchise mode has the best franchise mode any Madden has ever had and that is pathetic considering
there has been almost 6 games to come out since then!
I will just stick with Madden 2010.
I just read about a swagger rating. Are you ****ing kidding me? You wasted your time making a pointless rating up so they can celebrate? I swear EA
cannot make two good Madden's back to back anymore.

Yeah, lots of pointless features this year. Hate the new strategy pad or whatever they call it, ruins presnap adjustments. Dissapointed franchise
isnt improved myself.
Oh well, at least Colts are on the demo so I can hold back from buying it early. I'll end up buying it used in a month or two to play some old
friends.

uhmmm, hate to always seemt o go against the grain here, but I kinda liked it. Keep in mind I didn't play it last year as much I normally have in the
past, but I found a few noticebale things very enjoyable.
1) I actually liked the new "Strategy pad" for calling pre-snap audibles, hot routes, and defensive shifts. It took awhile to figure it but once I
got it, it made making the adjustments much easier and faster for me and I am a heavy user of pre-snap adjustments.
2) Finally the kicking is off the stupid thumbstick and back on to the "x" button. I could never steer that darn stick straight up.
3) I the overall game play, replays, and ambience was just about the right touch and fairly smooth.
4) I agree with everyone else about the GameFlow "Ask Madden". Luckily you can shut that off and carry on like a real man. First thing I did.
5) Nobody has mentioned that you can multiple play at once now online. So now you can go 2 vs 2 or multiple vs. multiple. I know people will cheese
like crazy with this by glitching plays and running a well rehearsed gimmick plays over and over, but this would be a lot of fun to play a small group
of people you know.
6) suppose to have enhanced online league play, but I haven't read much about it yet.
I personally give it a thumbs up and will be getting it on the 10th.
I must preface this review with the fact that I am basically a madden cheerleader. I don't need Madden to prove to me that a new game must equal
certain amount of enhancements to warrant it's purchase. It's shiny and new, so I am drawn to it like a moth to a light bulb.

Im getting used to the strategy pad on offense, not yet on defense. I'm liking the game a bit more myself.
The playbooks are smaller, but I noticed alot more of the plays seem to run better, specifically some of the stretch PA's. Sideline catches are
improved. Theres also better doubleteaming with lineman. The run game feels more realistic and responsive.
Played against a friend who came to visit from out of town for a few days My tackling was horrible for awhile, but much easier after I got the timing
down.
You can play two on the same team on the demo, and we ended up doing that for a couple of games. I imagine its the same as online coop. I think the
coop goes up to 3 on 3, should be alot fun especially if everyone has a mic on.

Have you noticed any fumbling issues? I've played three games so far and have forced a fumble in each game and fumbled a Kick Off once myself. I
wonder if it's just against the AI or has madden made the Hit Stick too effective?

there were 3 fumbles in the game i played. once on a punt return, once on a kickoff return, and once on a run play. i recovered all of them.
but this game has a certain level of realism.
Bob Sanders was injured and out for the game.

The problem wasn't me losing fumbles. i was jacking up the Jet AI a little too much.
FYI, details on Online Team Play
Love the change to the defensive camera postion to behind the defense as opposed to always looking down on the QB. They need to change that for all
playing modes.
